BAHÁ’Í WORLD CENTRE — The Bahá’í World News Service has launched its newly redesigned website at news.bahai.org (also at www.bwns.org), representing the latest in a series of developments since its establishment in 2000.
The new site provides seamless access to articles, videos, and podcasts, as well as a visually engaging experience—tailored to each story and featuring a refined treatment of photo essays—that more vividly convey the worldwide Bahá’í community’s ongoing efforts to contribute to social betterment.
The site now includes a new “Sections” page that organizes content by themes, making it easier to explore stories related to various aspects of the efforts of the global Bahá’í community.
Enhancements have also been made to the “Videos” section, accompanied by a newly dedicated Podcast page that highlights the latest episodes—including from the series “In Conversation” and “Insights from the Field”—as well as a complete archive of past recordings. A new audio player allows visitors to conveniently listen to podcasts directly on the website. The podcasts are also available on many major platforms (including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and SoundCloud).
Another significant advancement is the improved search capability, enabling users to access all the site’s content by different criteria, such as by theme, media type, and date. Additionally, the site now offers a dedicated image search, providing direct access to the extensive visual archive of the News Service for the first time.
Throughout the redesigned site, relevant past articles, videos, and podcasts are surfaced alongside current coverage, helping readers explore the deeper, long-term processes of change and transformation.
Established in the year 2000, the Bahá’í World News Service aims to publish inspiring and thought-provoking stories that reflect insights emerging from efforts of the worldwide Bahá’í community to contribute to social betterment. The new design extends to all six language versions of the site—Arabic, English, French, Persian, Russian, and Spanish—offering a unified experience to audiences around the globe.
In addition to the website, the News Service can also be found on a mobile application (Android and iOS), Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube, as well as through an email subscription.
