In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the centenary has been honored with a number of conferences on the theme of the equality of women and men, a topic addressed at length by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in His talks and writings. Discussions at these gatherings have looked at the central role of the education of children in contributing to social progress.
