On Thursday 29 September, a reception was held at the United Kingdom's national Baha'i centre for descendents and relatives of individuals who had met 'Abdu'l-Baha during his stay in the city. Among the guests was Sam Leonard, pictured left, who is the great-grandson of Wellesley Tudor Pole (1884-1968), an early British devotee of 'Abdu'l-Baha.
