In the county of Kaua'i, Hawaii, mayor Derek Kawakami issued an official proclamation for the conference in that area. The document reads, in part, that the mayor wishes "to thank the Baha'is of Kaua'i for their hard work throughout our community, and encourage all citizens to attend this special event."
