The United Nations General Assembly’s Third Committee called on Iranian authorities to end ongoing human rights violations against the Baha’is in Iran.

The body of Shamsi Aghdasi Azamian, a Baha’i from near Damavand, Iran, was exhumed on 24 October, several days after being buried in a Baha’i cemetery. This is the fourth case of exhumation experienced by the Baha’is at this location in recent years.
The Archives of Baha’i Persecution in Iran website was launched on 18 January. The website compiles thousands of official documents, reports, testimonials, photos, and videos revealing irrefutable proof of relentless persecution. It was created in response to rising interest within and outside Iran to understand the depth and breadth of the persecution of Iran’s Baha’is.
