On Thursday, 3 August 2017 Earl Cameron unveiled a blue plaque commemorating the location of Ira Aldridge's theater in Coventry, United Kingdom. Mr. Cameron's voice coach was Aldridge's daughter Amanda Ira Aldridge. The plaque unveiling was organized by the University of Warwick, Coventry City Council and the Belgrade theater.
