The proclamation, signed by Mayor Kelly Girtz of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, has declared 10 to 14 April 2023 as “World Peace Week”, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace at the University of Maryland.
