In Brazil, the state of Sergipe and the city of Manaus both issued stamps in collaboration with the Baha’i community. This design features two nine-pointed stars intertwined with each other.
In the Netherlands, the national postal service issued two limited edition stamps designed for the bicentenary. The stamp on the left symbolizes the oneness of all religions. The stamp on the right features a calligraphic rending of “Bismi’llahi’l-Bahiyyil-Abha” (In the name of God, the Glorious, the Most Glorious) in the form of a Bird of Paradise, that was drawn by the Persian artist Mishkin-Qalam.
Representatives of Cambodia’s Baha’i community met with a ministry official to discuss the Baha’i Faith and the recently opened local House of Worship in Battambang.
A stamp honoring the bicentenary was released in Germany. The design features the continental Baha’i House of Worship for Europe, which is in Frankfurt.
